"Strong Like A Mother" 

Welcome to my blog! Hope you're ready to pack a punch with me, like a boss mama. 

My name is Claudia Wang. I am 29 years old, I have two boys, and a third baby on the way. I


I've been doing MMA (kickboxing and boxing specifically) recreationally since about 2013. I want to encourage and inspire other women and mothers to stay fit, active, and healthy with mixed martial arts and other fitness components that will compliment their MMA journey. 

I also include posts about cultivating a strong mindset because I know how important that is! 

When I first started kickboxing, I knew I was instantly hooked -pun intended. It was truly a place of therapy for me, physically, mentally, and emotionally. It helped me touch a new level of grit, self-discipline, self-control, and develop new physical and mental capacities that translated into all other areas of my life. 

When I had both my babies in 2017 and 2019, other than other forms of fitness training that I was incorporating into my training routine, MMA really helped me melt the baby weight off and really helped me -other than Jesus- with my seasons of postpartum depression and PTSD. 

It developed more strength and confidence in me as a person overall and I hope to share and distribute that same thing to others who visit my blog. 

On "The MMA Mama", I hope to encourage and inspire other women and mamas to pack a punch and lose weight and reach goals! I hope to partner with you in your weight loss journey or just your journey to stay active, fit, healthy and strong like a mother, while developing a resilient mindset and kick butt at daily life outside the gym!
